180 Pounds of Poet Meat is Garri Saganenko’s debut work. Dividied into two sections (Light and Dark Meat), the book contains poems that are at-once rhythmic, sardonic, and philosophic(al). Topics include, but are not limited to: How to buy a home, self-harm, Kermit the Frog, and nectarines. Besides poems the work also includes many tasty scraps of “found writing” as well as a photograph of a pizza. It’s a rippin’ good time.
