Join us in celebrating the graduating students of the Masters of Arts in Eastern Classics and the Master of Arts in Liberal Arts on August 5, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. MT. The ceremony will be held in-person on campus and will also be streamed virtually.

Portraits will be taken as early as 8:30AM in front of Weigle.
MA Candidates must arrive at 9:30 a.m. in front of Weigle for a group photo, and to go over Commencement procedures.

Social Distancing and Mask Requirements
The current policies for social distancing and mask requirement are as follows:
- Non-vaccinated individuals must remain masked whether indoors or outdoors.
- Vaccinated individuals may go maskless when outdoors, but all individuals must wear a mask when indoors.
- Guests are encouraged to maintain a reasonable distance from one another and, when possible, maintain 3 feet of distance.
- Anyone who is sick or experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 should not come to campus.

Frequently Asked Questions
The ceremony will be held in front of Evans Science Lab, on the Santa Fe campus on August 5 at 10:30 a.m.
Guest seating is available directly in front of Weigle Hall and on the grassy knoll next to Santa Fe Hall. The knoll will not have chairs, but there is shade available.
Students may bring a maximum of 5 guests, to attend the ceremony. For the Graduate Reception Dinner, students will only be permitted two guests. All guests must be RSVP’d in the following form for the reception dinner here.
The commencement ceremony will last approximately 50 minutes.
Because the ceremony will be held outside, we suggest that you wear sunscreen and/or sun protection. Water will be provided. The ceremony is rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors where further restrictions to guests and seating will be necessary.
Parking is available at the Visitor Parking Lot (Lot A), in the Staff and Faculty Lot (Lot C), and in the larger lot behind Weigle Hall near Lot E (but not Lot E, proper.)
We have hired a photographer for the event. Photos will be available on August 17. You will be able to download images to your device or computer for free. If you wish to purchase physical copies of the images, you can add the photos to your shopping cart and the pictures will be shipped directly.
