We are pleased to welcome all of our Johnnies to our beloved community. This fall we are planning a full schedule of events and activities for everyone!

As plans and schedules are finalized, we will update this page, so check back often. In the meantime, please find important information and links below as you plan for your arrival in Santa Fe.

Housing & Orientation Details

Move-in/Housing

Housing questionnaire is due July 1 and housing assignments will be emailed to your SJC email on July 15.

Move-In Dates (Subject to changes!)

  • Invited participates in the Pritzker Scholars Program will arrive on campus August 18.
  • Bridge in the Wild outdoor program will take place during the Bridge in the City Different orientation (limited availability for Bridge in the Wild). All freshmen, non-Pritzker Scholars Program attendees, will move in on August 20 and the Bridge in the Wild program will depart campus on August 22.
  • International Students will arrive August 17–18 if participating in the Pritzker Scholars Program, or August 19–20 if not participating in the Pritzker Scholars Program.
  • Bridge in the City Different & Bridge in the Wild Freshmen Tuesday, August 20–Sunday, September 1. Bridge in the Wild will return to campus and join traditional orientation sessions on Tuesday, August 27.
  • Families of Freshmen: On select Wednesdays throughout the summer we will host virtual family orientation sessions to introduce you to all of the key offices and services on campus. Check your email for invitations and recordings of sessions.
  • Graduate Students (Low-Residency): Online Wednesday, August 28–Thursday, August 29.
  • Graduate Students (In-Person): Wednesday, August 28–Thursday, August 29.

Convocation

This ceremony is a long-standing tradition at the college and serves as the formal induction into the St. John’s community. Families and friends are invited to attend in person or watch online.

Thursday, August 29 at 11 a.m. Rehearsal at 10:30 a.m., Weigle and ESL Placita.
