Educators and Teachers

The Graduate Institute is especially designed for educators. The curriculum is ideal for teachers looking to hone their craft, and the costs are low thanks to scholarships specifically for educators. Complete your degree or certificate on campus or online through our low residency program.

Pedagogy

Originally founded in 1967 as the Teachers Institute in Liberal Education, the Graduate Institute seeks to preserve a commitment to the education of teachers as a special part of its mission.

The Teachers Institute

Our Teachers Institute provides opportunities for educators to read great books, experience the collaborative discussion-based learning at St. John’s, and exchange ideas with a network of educators who value the life of the mind as much as you.
