MAEC Schedule

Classes for the Master of Arts in Eastern Classics begin daily at 3:30 or 4 p.m. MT, allowing students who choose to work during the day to join the program. Students can also complete our Eastern Classics degree program online.*

Total number of classes needed to graduate = 10

Total credit hours needed to graduate = 34

Full Time

  • 4 classes in the fall (14 credit hours), 4 classes in the spring (14 credit hours), 2 classes in the summer (6 credit hours)
    • Seminar = 5 credit hours, all other courses = 3 credit hours
  • Complete the program in 3 semesters
  • Can only start in the fall

Part Time

(Class schedule may vary so please discuss options with the Graduate Institute)

  • 2 classes in the spring (8 credit hours), 2 classes in the spring (8 credit hours) 1 class in the summer (3 credit hours)
  • Complete the program in 6 semesters
  • Can only start in the fall
