Peterson Art Gallery

Located on the second floor of the Pritzker Student Center above the dining hall, the Peterson Art Gallery is St. John’s College Santa Fe’s exhibition space for contemporary art. The gallery retains the Peterson name in recognition of Duane and Clementine Peterson, early benefactors whose support helped shape the Santa Fe campus. Renovated and reopened in February 2026, the gallery presents exhibitions by students alongside regional and national artists, while serving as a hub for creative engagement through artist talks, workshops, seminars, and other opportunities for students to connect with practicing artists. Through exhibitions and public programming, the Peterson Art Gallery fosters dialogue between the visual arts and the College’s tradition of liberal inquiry.
