What Others Say
St. John’s is the “most forward-thinking, future-proof college in America.” –QuartzRead More
St. John’s College Meem Library is open to all guests staying at the college. On-campus guests can register at the circulation desk in order to receive borrowing privileges.
There are two 24-hour study rooms at the front of the library that are available at all times, including weekends. Access is granted through the front doors, and the rooms are to the left. Like all spaces on campus, these are non-smoking rooms, and the same courtesy and behavior conducive to studying is expected at all times.
Meem Library has an assistance dog, a black lab named Seymour. Jennifer Sprague, the library director, is his certified handler. Seymour was trained through Assistance Dogs of the West and as a facility dog, he provides comfort and stress relief for anyone who would like to pet him. You can find Seymour on his bed near the circulation desk, and he loves belly rubs, but please, don’t give him any treats!
