St. John’s College in Annapolis and Santa Fe welcomed new classes of incoming undergraduate and Graduate Institute Johnnies to its campuses with the convocation ceremony, one of the most cherished traditions at the college.
St. John’s College has announced its fall Dean’s Lecture and Concert Series. Usually on Friday evenings, members of the St. John’s College community head to the Great Hall to hear a lecture or concert from visiting scholars, artists, poets or faculty.
Santa Fe tutor Ken Wolfe (SF94) asked Annapolis tutor Leah Lasell (SFGI04) to join him in co-facilitating a Summer Classics seminar on Boccaccio’s The Decameron.

Everyone is invited to the Graduate Institute’s free Summer Lecture program each Wednesday night, June 29-July 27. You can attend remotely or in-person to engage with our speakers on compelling topics ranging from constitutional law, to legal advocacy, to poetry inspired by work in medicine, and to classic literature.
