Since June 2020, Johnnies Eun Seo Oh (SF21), Minseok Kim (SF20), and Siwhan Cha (A23) have aimed to bring the joys of the Great Books to others with PhiloUs, a liberal arts education company.
A spirit of warmth, community, and gratitude pervaded the 2021 commencement ceremonies at St. John’s Santa Fe, the campus’s 54th and the college’s 325th. Held on Saturday, May 22, the hybrid event encompassed in-person and virtual celebrations.
While her original plans for summer 2020 were postponed, Sandrina Mislitchi (SF22) used a Pathways Fellowship to study introductory statistical methods and applications at University of Chicago.
On May 16, 2021, St. John’s College Annapolis celebrated the Class of 2021 with an outdoor commencement ceremony.
In early March, Simran Thapa (SF22) and Bryn Frye-Mason (SF23) were awarded a Projects for Peace fellowship. Founded in 2007 by the late philanthropist Kathryn W. Davis, the initiative invites students at Davis United World College Scholars Program partner schools—a group that includes St. John’s—to formulate a project that promotes peace anywhere in the world.
